Dry steam is supplied by passing steam from a first chamber which is connected by a valve to a second chamber provided with capillary tubes which interconnects the second chamber with atmosphere, maintaining a pressure difference of approx. 0.7 as the steam is passing through the chambers and expanding the steam passing from the first chamber into the second chamber to atm. conditions. Passage of steam from the first chamber into the second chamber and expansion of the steam results in removal of condensate from the first chamber which supplies nozzles with dry steam, the nozzles being supplied intermittently. |
