PURPOSE:To accurately position a pallet by providing guide blocks corresponding to projecting portions disposed at the forward and backward ends of a pallet bottom portion, engaging one stopper of one guide block, and pressing the other stopper in the forward direction. CONSTITUTION:Front and rear guide blocks 15, 16 respectively guiding cam followers 11, 11a at the forward and retreat ends of a pallet 10 are fixed to a stopper plate 14 of a stopper device for a conveyer frame, and the surface for guiding the follower 11a of the block 16 functions as a reference surface for positioning a cam follower. When the pallet 10 reaches a designated work position, the follower 11a is brought into contact with a stopper portion 18 of a rear stopper 17 and stopped while being brought into contact with a buffer 19, and a cylinder 24 is operated to advance and raise the front stopper 21 to be brought into contact with the follower 11. The follower 11 is brought into contact with the block 15, and a rear stopper 17 brings the follower 11a into contact with the block 16 to position the pallet 10.
