PURPOSE:To prevent shortcircuiting accident owing to the breakage of the insulator due to the contact to the periphery of the metal plate of the piezoelectric vibrator by the lead wire by attaching an insulating part to the protruding part of the lead that starts from the electrode of the piezoelectric ceramic plate of the piezoelectric vibrator. CONSTITUTION:The piezoelectric ceramic plate 11 of which electrodes of such as silver are formed on both surfaces by baking, is adhered to both surfaces of a metal plate 12 of which diameter is a little longer than that of the former, and produce a piezoelectric vibrator 10. The vibrator 10 is supported in its node of primary resonance by the supporter 14 that protrudes from the inner bottom of a bottom-closed housing 13. A lead applied with an insulating coating 17 is lead from the electrode on the surface not connected with the metal plate 12 of the ceramic plate 11 of the vibrator 10, and is connected to the lag terminal 18 provided on the bottom surface of the housing 13. The protruding part of the lead is coated with an insulating part 19 of such as silicon tube. By means of such a constitution as above, even if the lead 17 vibrates due to the vibration of the piezoelectric vibrator 10, a breakage of the insulation coating of the metal plate 12 does not happen by the contact to its periphery by the lead 17. |
