The apparatus has a turntable and a clamping device for the disc received. The clamping device includes a plunger adapted to slide along an axis of the plunger. A holder is included for holding the plunger and a magnetic propelling device is provided using a permanent magnet provided between the holder and the plunger. This is for propelling the plunger towards the disc received on the turntable. A carriage is mounted on electric motor and the clamp. Two carriage are movable between two positions.
