PURPOSE:To replace only either an image carrier or a cleaning device by consti tuting the both so that they are coupled detachably. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive drum 4 and cleaning unit 39 are so provided that they are coupled detachably. Namely, when the photosensitive drum 4 and cleaning unit 39 are coupled in one body as a process kit 40, a drum front surface fitting part 53 and a drum rear surface fitting part 55 are inserted inside the front surface part 48 and rear surface part 51 of a holder 47 which holds the drum 4 rotatbly. Then, screw holes 52 and 56 are aligned to each other and fixed with a screw 59. This process kit 40 is held slidably on the rail of a copying machine body by the guide part 60 of the holder 47 and the guide 61 of the unit 39. Consequently, only either the drum 4 or cleaning unit 39 is separated and replaced, and operativity and economy are improved. |
