PURPOSE:To prevent the revolution of a fan due to a running wind and the resultant deterioration of a motor by dynamically braking the motor by electrically short-circuiting the both poles of motor brushes while a motor to drive a fan for air blast cooling of a radiator is stopped. CONSTITUTION:The negative pole of a car battery 10 is earthed, and its positive pole is connected to the positive contact 11 of a thermoswitch. A thermoswitch reverse contact 12 opposite to the positive contact 11 is earthed. On the other hand, as for a motor 13 to drive a fan 14 opposite to a radiator 15, the one pole 16 of motor brushes is connected to the common contact 18 of the thermoswitch 17, and the other pole 19 of them is earthed. The thermoswitch 17 detects the temperature rise of an engine through a cooling water temperature, and changes to the positive contact 11 when the engine temperature becomes over a prescribed temperature. Consequently, when the engine temperature lowers during its running, the thermoswitch 17 connects with a reverse contact 12 to stop the motor 13, and the both poles of the motor brushes are electrically short-circuited. |
