PURPOSE:To discharge automatically forms which remain in a copying machine in response to the operation of a start button and carrying on copying operation by driving the copying machine until the number of discharged forms coincides with a set value in response to the restarting of interrupted copying operation. CONSTITUTION:When the copying machine is stopped in the middle of copying operation and the start button is pressed for restarting, forms remaining in the copying machine are discharged, which is detected through a discharge form detection SW5. Then, a microcomputer 6 counts the discharged forms and the paper discharge is carried on until the counted value attains to the set value; and the computer 6 places the copying machine in copying operation mode. This automatic paper discharging allows the copying operation to be restarted smoothly and easily without such trouble that the copying machine does not operate until manual paper discharge is completed even when the start button is pressed. |
