PURPOSE:To prevent a decrease of generated torque, worsening of fuel consumption and an increase of exhaust temperature, by providing a normalcy/ abnormality decision means, which decides detection of a combustion pressure vibration by a combustion pressure vibration detecting means, and an ignition timing correction quantity determining means which determines an ignition timing correction quantity. CONSTITUTION:An normalcy/abormality decision means B determines whether or not detection of a combustion pressure vibration by each combustion pressure vibration detecting means A, A' is normal. An ignition timing correction quantity determining means C, C' determines an ignition timing correction quantity on the basis of a detection result of the detecting means A, A' when a decision result of the decision means B is normal. While the determining means determines the ignition timing correction quantity on the basis of the ignition timing correction quantity of a cylinder or a cylinder group with the decision result normal when a decision result of the decision means B is abnormal. In this way, a decrease of generated torque, worsening of fuel consumption and an increase of exhaust temperature can be prevented. |
