摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a printing method by which printing can be easily conducted at high speed, with high resolution and even in colors and which ensures easy maintenance, by a method wherein a discharge recording material is used, an image of a conductor film is provided on a base by discharge breakdown, different potentials are given respectively to a conductor part and a non-conductor part left after removing the film, a charged toner is adhered to the parts according to the potentials, and the toner is transferred to a printing material and fixed. CONSTITUTION:The discharge recording material 101 consists of the base 102 and the conductor film 103 vapor-deposited on the base 102. A voltage is impressed on the film 103 of the material 101 from an electrical signal source 106 through an earth roller 105 and a recording means 104 to form an image of the film 103. Then, the base side of the material 101 is charged by a charger 109, and simultaneously, the film 103 side is supplied with a charged toner by bringing a magnetic brush 111 into contact with or proximity to the material 101, thereby adhering the toner to the parts of the material 101 according to the potentials. The toner image thus formed is laminated on the recording material 115, and pressure and heat is applied thereto by a fixing means 117 consisting of a heated roller 114 and a pressure roller 113 to obtain a fixed image 116.
