PURPOSE:To contrive enhancement in fixability and color developing property of an image of a fluid or sublimable ink, by transferring an ink of an ink doner film onto a recording paper by mixing the ink with a transparent resin. CONSTITUTION:An ink layer 4 of the ink doner film 1 and a transparent resin layer 24 of a transparent resin film 21 are laminated with each other, and the laminate is passed between a thermal head 6 and a back-up roller 7. Heating elements of the head 6 are selectively operated in accordance with image signals to heat the ink layer 4 through a base 3, whereby the ink layer 4 is selectively fluidized, and the fluid ink is transferred onto the resin layer 24. The film 21 released from the film 1 is passed between a heated roller 25 and a pinch roller 26 in the state of being laminated with a recording paper 10 fed out from a paper-supplying tray. The resin layer 24 and the ink 4a thus transferred are heated through a base 23, whereby the resin layer 24 and the ink 4a are fluidized, and a mixture of the ink and the resin is transferred onto the paper 10. |
