PURPOSE:To improve accelerator operability by setting opening of a throttle valve according to engine rotating number when the accelerator operating amount is maximum. CONSTITUTION:An objective intake air amount Qa is calculated based on an accelerator pedal operating amount QA detected by an accelerator pedal operating amount detecting means 12 and an engine rotating number Ne. And an objective throttle opening THO is calculated according to the calculated objective intake air amount Qa and the engine rotating number Ne. A setting means 14 sets the throttle valve opening when the accelerator pedal operating amount is maximum in accordance with the engine rotating number. Then, accelerator operability is improved.
