<p>PURPOSE:To form a rotary coupler having a very wide signal transmission characteristic by using a variable impedance circuit so as to modulate a high frequency signal fed from an oscillator circuit and transmitting the signal between microstrip lines of a rotor and a stator. CONSTITUTION:When the impedance of a modulation circuit 22 is changed in response to a reproduced video signal obtained at a rotary magnetic head, the resonance frequency of the microstrip 15 of a closed loop form of the rotor 11 is change daccording to the impedance change. An oscillating frequency of an oscillation circuit 32 connected to the microstrip 16 of the stator 12 is changed according to the change in the resonance frequency of the closed loop microstrip 15 of the rotor 11. The change in the oscillating frequency of the oscillator circuit 32, that is, a reproduced video signal is demodulated by a demodulation circuit 33 and transmitted from the rotor 11 to the stator 12 through the electromagnetic coupling between the microstrip lines.</p> |
