PURPOSE:To transfer plates reasonably in response to the change in the processing time in the precedent and subsequent processing devices, in a plate processing line, by transporting plates individually by the input part and output part of a plate stocker, and by stocking them temporarily in a stock part. CONSTITUTION:A plate stocker 10 consists of an input part 211, a stock part 12 and an output part 13, wherein the input part 11 has a receiving mechanism 11-2 to send each plate retainer 14, which holds plate 15 carried in from a carry-in path 11-1, to said stock part 12. The stock part 12 is equipped with a number of suck retainers 14 capable of traveling round on rails 25-1, 25-2, a means to drive these retainers 14, and stopper mechanisms 46, 47 which stop the retainers 14 for stocking, put out one after another, and send for the input part 11 and output part 13. The output part 13 is furnished with a sendout mechanism 13-2 to forward the send-out retainer 14 to a carry-out path 13-1 revolvingly. The receiving mechanism 11-2 and sendout mechanism 13-2 are provided with sensors 20A, 20B, 41a, 42a to sense coming-in, receipt and passage of each plate 15. |
