PURPOSE:To improve control accuracy of intake amount by increasing air amount supplied to an engine gradually in accordance with the increase of accelerator operating amount even in accelerating from the engine low rotating range. CONSTITUTION:Accelerator operating amount is detected by an acceleration detecting means 16. An engine rotating number is detected by an engine rotating number detecting means 22. An objective intake amount setting means 30 setting an objective value of air supplied to the engine based on accelerator operating amount - objective intake amount characteristic where the maximum intake amount determined by the engine rotating number of then becomes objective intake amount of the full operating amount of the accelerator and the objective intake amount is reduced as the accelerator operating amount is reduced is provided. Then, control accuracy of intake amount can be improved.
