PURPOSE:To decrease the number of lines in bus and to reduce noise and inter- line shorting by providing a common operating unit, an audio unit and a display unit for multiple source units for a vehicle etc. and providing IFC line for interface clearing. CONSTITUTION:The operating unit 1, display unit 2, deck unit 4, tuner unit 4 and audio unit 5 are connected with one another so that mutual communications can be made. When data communications are made between the units, it is necessary to reset the hardware and clear the interface. For this reason, using two lines, RST and RXEN in the common bus 6 between the operating unit 1 and other unit X, signals are sent to the RST and RXEN lines at the timing as shown by the figure. That is, the RXEN line sends nor mally the signal to indicate whether data can be put on the data line or not, but by sending the signal (b) or (c) when the RST line is rising to the H level, it selects the hardware resetting or interface clearing. |
