<p>PURPOSE:To perform optimum three-dimensional working by fetching data related to an inputted edge line from a shape model data memory, determining a surface to be worked of a work, and designating an edge line for showing an area to be worked. CONSTITUTION:A graphic input device 1 is constituted of a light pen, a tablet, a stylus, a keyboard, etc., picks up successively an edge line name in a shape model of a work to be a working area, and inputs it to an edge line recognizing part 2. The whole model is displayed on a graphic output device 6 through a shape model display part 8. A working area determining part 3 transfers and stores these data in a working area data memory 4, and a working area display part 5 outputs an edge line related to each face by a designated color on the graphic output device 6, based on data related to faces F1-F8 from the working area determining part 3. On a picture of the graphic output device 6, a designated edge line is displayed by a designated color by being superposed on a parallel projection drawing of a three- dimensional shape model of the work and the edge line name of all edge lines, and a moving path of a tool to be generated is determined. In this way, NC data of high working efficiency can be generated, and the working accuracy is improved.</p> |
