PURPOSE:To suppress the occurrence of development variance or the like due to omission of removal or the like of a remaining developer on a developing roll by forming the front end part of a scraping member to a certain shape in accordance with the curvature of this member and bringing the front end part of the scraping member into close contact with the outside peripheral surface of the developing roll with a uniform pressing force. CONSTITUTION:A developer peeling means 4 scrapes mechanically the spent remaining developer, which passes near a photosensitive body 1, out of the developer in a magnetic brush 6 formed on a developing roll 2 and removes this remaining developer from the developing roll 2 and is pressed to the developing roll 2 to scrape said developer by the rotating force of the developing roll 2. Since a scraping member 9 is attached where a center part 10a of a front end part 10 pressed to the developing roll 2 is projected from both end parts 10b and its projection is formed along a curve having a certain curvature, the front end part 10 of the scraping member 9 is brought closely and completely into contact with the outside peripheral surface of the developing roll 2 and is pressed to it, and the remaining developer on the developing roll 2 is scraped surely without omission and is removed to the outside of the developing roll 2. |
