Shuttering for concrete floors comprises panels 10 supported by hollow beams 13 at their ends, and, optionally, cross beams (not shown), running perpendicular to the beams 13, the beams being supported at their ends by props 14 via stirrups 18 which are vertically-adjustable with respect to fixed end-plates 17 which serve to prop the floor after the shuttering has been lowered. The props may each have a vertically-adjustable foot 20 upon which the main portion 15 of the prop is supported by a pin 22 resting on a threaded collar 23. Each stirrups 18 has two channelsectioned support section 19 for the main beams 13, and two laterally-projecting welded on plates carrying pins for supporting the cross .beams. The stirrup 18 is welded to an upper tube 24 which is supported on the body portion 15 by a second threaded collar 23 which sits on a second pin 22 passing through the body portion 15. |
