发明名称 METHOD FOR WET PACKING OF FINE PARTICULATE POROUS GLASS FILLER FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE CHROMATOGRAPHY
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the formation of a homogenous packed column even under a high flow speed packing condition, by using a liquid mixture based on three components of ethylene glycol, lower alcohol and lower fatty acid as a dispersing medium used in packing. CONSTITUTION:Ethylene glycol, 1-4C aliphatic alcohol (especially pref., methanol) and 1-4C fatty acid (especially pref., acetic acid) are mixed in a volumetric ratio of 50-70:20-30:0.1-2 to prepare a dispersing medium used in packing. The specific gravity of this medium is set to 0.8-1.1g/cm<3> (especially desirably, 0.9-1.0g/cm<3>) and the viscosity thereof to 2.0-8.0cp (especially desirably, 3.0-5.0cp). By this method, a homogenous packed column can be formed at a high flow speed even when a fine particulate porous glass filler with a small average particle size of 0.1-30mum is packed.
