<p>PURPOSE:To attain production of the NC (numerical control) data without requiring the decision of a programmer by storing previously the sequence of the working stage to a memory in accordance with various material forms and then reading said sequence out of the memory for production of the NC data for working of a finishing form. CONSTITUTION:The working stage sequence is stored previously to a nonvolatile memory 201 in accordance with various material forms. For instance, the material forms are defined as a round rod, a hollow round rod and special form materials. For the round rod, the end face rough working; the outer diameter rough working, the end face finish working, the outer diameter finish working, the groove cutting and the screw cutting are carried out successively. While the end face rough working, the outer diameter rough working the drilling, the inner diameter rough working the end face finish working the outer diameter finish working the inner diameter finish working, the groove cutting and the screw cutting are carried out successively with the hollow round rod. So is with the special form materials. Those defined working sequence are stored. Then a processor 203 refers to the forms, sizes, etc. of materials supplied to a RAM205 from a console 208. Then the NC data is produced automatically for the turning according to the working sequence stored in the memory 201.</p> |
