PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a compressor to enhance the durability and reliability of a fuel cooling device which utilizes coolant from a cooling device, by arranging a fuel cooler in parallel with an evaporator in the cooling device. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid valve 17 is controlled in accordance with the temperature of fuel at the inlet side (a) of a fuel pipe 18, which is detected by a temperature sensor 22, such that it opens when the temperature of fuel exceeds a predetermined value to feed coolant to a fuel cooler 16 for cooling fuel. Accordingly, the temperature of fuel is suppressed to a lower value even if the outside air temperature is high. Further, by connecting the fuel cooler 16 is in parallel with an evaporator 14, coolant heated by the fuel cooler 16 is made independent from coolant heated by the evaporator 14 so that it is possible to prevent the temperature and pressure of coolant from increasing to increase the load of the compressor 11. Thus, the durability and reliability of the compressor may be enhanced. |
