PURPOSE:To obtain sewage purification equipment enables in continuous use over a long period of time, by automatically changing over two precoat filters to alternately operate both of them. CONSTITUTION:During the operation of either one of two precoat filters 51, 52 provided with inner pressure sensors 61, 62, two precoat filters 51, 52 are automatically changed over on the basis of the operation of the inner pressure sensors 61, 62 to be alternately operated on the assumption that fresh water and a filter material are respectively additionally supplied to a precoat tank 1 and a filter material tank 3. By discarding the used filter material during a stop period, continuous use over a long period of time is enabled.
