PURPOSE:To improve the power converting performance by operating a time until next trigger pulse is generated and operating a time until an actual control angle reaches a prescribed control lower limit value so as to adopt the larger values of both the operated values as the time until the next trigger pulse is generated. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 5 gives a control signal for generating a trigger pulse to a pulse amplifier 11, which applies a trigger pulse to a prescribed thyristor of a thyristor converter 2 via a pulse transformer 9 or 10 according to the control signal. Then the trigger angle command and the actual value are sampled respectively for a prescribed number of times between a trigger generating point of time and a next trigger generating point of time with the output of the computer 5, and the plot of the sampled trigger angle commands is subject to linear approximation. The time until the next trigger signal is generated and the time until the actual control angle reaches a preset control angle minimum value are operated from the approximated line and the larger operated value is adopted as the trigger signal generating time for trigger control. |
