PURPOSE:To improve the adhesion of electrode active material to a conductor and the uniformity of electrolysis depositing as well as to improve the utilization factor of the active material by performing electrolysis in the aqueous solution containing cadmium sulfate, cadmium nitrate and nickel compound and thereafter by having electrolytic active material deposited on the conductor. CONSTITUTION:The solution is made by adding nickel hydroxide into aqueous solution containing cadmium sulfate and cadmium nitrate and thereafter by adjusting its pH to 5. And then, putting the electrolytic solution into an electrolytic bath, and using a metallic cadmium plate as a positive electrode, and using a nickel net as a negative electrode, and stirring and circulating the electrolytic solution continuously at room temperature, and the electrolysis is performed. The nickel net with electrolytic deposited electrode active material is formed by pressure, and thereafter, washing and drying it, and a cadmium negative plate with the collector consisting of the nickel net can be obtained. |
