PURPOSE:To simplify the operation at each transmission and to attain versatile sender information by operating separately sender specific information such as a sender section. CONSTITUTION:A part of an operation part 4a is formed to a mounting section 11a of a device 11 attachably and detachably as a separated operating part 4b. First a caller operates an operation button 4c of the own separated operating part 4b to store a data specific to the caller to a recording medium 12 and the separated operating section 4b is mounted to the operating part 4a at transmission. Then the transmission mode such as instant transmission or multiple address and a transmission destination code are inputted from the operating part 4a to depress the transmission button. Then the sender data stored in the recording medium 12 is read by a data read part 13 of a separated operating section, converted into an image data by a character generator (CG)14 and stored in a memory 15. Then an original 1 is read by the reading part 2 and an image data representing the sender stored in the memory part 15 is overlaid on the image data and the result is transmitted. The sender print information is recorded at a prescribed position of the 1st page of the original 1 at the reception section.
