摘要 PURPOSE:To provide the titled pin with a sufficient harndess, reduce cost and enable a printing head and a driving mechanism to be reduced in weight and size, by a method wherein an Fe-Cr-Co alloy is subjected to wire drawing, the resultant wire is aged to be a line form magnet, and the tip of the magnet is quenched. CONSTITUTION:An Fe-Cr-Co base spinodal decomposition type magnetic alloy is subjected to wire drawing, the resultant wire is aged to be a line form magnet, and the tip of the magnet is quenched to form a hard dot striking part 1a. The printing pin 1 thus produced by wire drawing is low in cost, the quenching treatment provides a hard striking part, and since it consists of a line form magnet, it can be directly driven by providing a coil 2 around it. Accordingly, the printing pin itself serves also as a plunger of a solenoid which plunger has been necessary for driving a printing pin in a conventional system, thus the plunger is omitted, so that the printing head can be reduced in size and weight, and it is possible to cope with a higher-speed printing.
