PURPOSE:To wind a tape around a rotary drum without straining the tape and without executing loading operation, and to prevent a trouble such as mixing of dust, etc., by winding diagonally in advance the tape around the outside peripheral surface, in the same housing, and providing a hollow and transparent cylindrical ring into which an optical rotary head is inserted. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical ring 31 formed by a transparent material is fixed to a housing at a prescribed angle theta determined by a relation to a data width, with respect to the shaft of a supply reel 12a and a winding reel 12b. A tape 15 is wound around the supply reel 12a, goes round spirally the outside periphery of the cylindrical ring 31 through a guide 14a, and wound around the winding reel 12b through a guide 14b. A rotary drum 30 is inserted into the inside of the cylindrical ring 31, coaxially with the cylindrical ring 31, and in such a way as an equal gap determined in relation to a focal distance of an optical pickup is formed, and recording of information to the tape is executed by running and rotating mutually the tape 15 and the rotary drum 30, and irradiating a laser beam on the tape 15 by the optical pickup. |
