PURPOSE:To enhance light resistance of a microcapsule layer comprising a coloring agent and light resistance of a color body, by incorporating a specified quinoline into microcapsules containing a substantially colorless electron-donative dye. CONSTITUTION:A quinoline derivative of the general formula [I], wherein R1 is preferably hydrogen, methoxy or ethoxy, and R2 is 2-8C alkyl, aryl or benzyl is used in an amount of 5-200wt% based on the amount of a coloring agent, preferably, 20-100wt%. The derivative is addedly dissolved in an organic solvent solution of the coloring agent, and the resultant solution is microencapsulated to be applied to a base. The coloring agent used for the recording sheet is a triarylmethane compound, a diphenylmethane compound, a xanthene compound, a thiazine compound, a spiro-compound or a mixture thereof. |
