PURPOSE:To decrease the size of a device and to improve pressing-in efficiency, by a method wherein a pile body, having an open lower end and an air vent port formed in the vicinity of its upper end, is erected on a ground surface to block up a space at the interior thereof, and a static load is applied as the air at the interior is bled through the air bleeding hole. CONSTITUTION:A pile body 1 is secured to a pile chuck 11 of a pile press-in machine 10 for holding to erect the lower end of the pile body 1 on a ground surface G. With a vertical driving cylinder 13 of the press-in machine 10 driven, the pile body 1 is started to be pressed in a ground. Simultaneously, a vacuum pump 9, connected to an air vent port 7 formed in the vicinity of the upper end of the pile body 1, is driven to exhaust the air at the interior of the pile body 1 through an air vent pipe 8. |
