PURPOSE:To adjust easily color balance in the stage of using a photosensitive body having a distribution layer of plural kinds of filters to form a multi-color image by changing the developing magnetic field to be generated between the photosensitive body and a developer carrying body of a developing device. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body 4 constituted of an insulating layer 2 consisting of the distribution of plural kinds of the filters, a photoconductive layer 1 and a conductive layer 3 is subjected to electrostatic charging and image exposure. The filter part of the specific kind among the filters on the surface of the layer 2 is then subjected to the full-surface exposure by a lamp to generate a potential pattern and the image of a yellow toner TY is formed by, for example, a developing device 8Y. The quantity of the toner to be transferred from the developer layer to the body 4 is controlled by changing the bias voltage to be impressed to the developer carrying body 81 by a bias power source 80 in the stage of said development, by which the density of the tone image of each color in the formation of the multi-color image is adjusted. |
