PURPOSE:To improve the low temperature engine starting performance while to simplify the structure by stopping auxiliary fuel supply through an auxiliary fuel control valve provided independently from main fuel feeder at the time point of initial combustion. CONSTITUTION:The intake tube 21 of engine 20 is fixed with a throttle valve 22, main fuel injection valve 23 and an auxiliary fuel control valve 24 of cold start device for feeding auxiliary fuel to the engine 20. While the water jacket 25 is fixed with a temperature sensor 26 which is connected together with an engine rotation sensor 28, starter switch 30, etc. to ECU34. Only when the time from rising through turning on of starter switch 30 is within the range of valve open time of the auxiliary fuel control valve 24 to be determined by the engine temperature and the engine rotation is lower than a level to be set with correspondence to the engine rotation, the auxiliary fuel control valve 24 is functioned. |
