PURPOSE:To enhance a motor efficiency by detecting a current flowed to an inverter, comparing the detected value with a reference voltage to chop the inverter, thereby averaging the peak values of winding currents to suppress a pulsation. CONSTITUTION:In a brushless motor in which the output of an AC power source AC is supplied through rectifiers D1-D4 and an inverter to a motor M, the rotor position of the motor is detected to control the currents of transistors of the inverter, a shunt resistor Rt is inserted between a rectifier and the inverter to detect the current of the inverter by a detector 1. This detected output is input together with a reference voltage VR to a comparator 2 to compare them. The compared output is input to a driver 3 to chop a transistor to be conducted. |
