A hydroxy cpd. (A) is reacted with a urethane (B) in the form of an imide of formula (I) to give an acylurethane (I) with at least 1 gp. of formula -CO-R-CO-NH-COOR1. R=the hydrocarbon residue of a 2-10C, opt. alpha,beta-ethylenically unsatd. (cyclo)aliphatic or aromatic dicarboxylic acid or endomethylene deriv. R1=alkyl, alkoxy or alkoxyalkyl with 1-16C (1-10C) in the alkyl gp., 3-10C cycloalkyl or benzyl.
