PURPOSE:To prevent the turnover of a picture image forming device when the device is not used, by constituting the device in such a way that the base of the device when the device is set at the vertical position can become larger in area than that when the device is set at the horizontal position. CONSTITUTION:A stabilizing base 19 which is supported by a shaft 18 and freely rotated is provided on the surface of a picture image forming device which becomes the base when the device is used in the vertical position and, when the device is used in the vertical position, the base 19 is rotated so as to prevent the turnover of the device. Moreover,since a power source switch 23 is turned off by means of the rotation of a switch lever 22 in connection with the rotation of the base 19, the device never operates even though a copying button is wrongly depressed when the power supply is on. Therefore, the device can be prevented from turning over when the device is not used. |
