The invention relates to a device for continuously providing corrosion protection in a liquids container of sheet steel, one or more anodes of a metal of more basic character than that of the container wall being arranged in the container. According to the invention, each anode body is provided on its side facing the cathode - which is the container bottom - with an oil- and alkali-resistant corrosion protection layer.
