PURPOSE:To enable to correctly detect the water level in a bathtub without being affected by water pressure by a method wherein the water level is detected with a water level detecting device by closing a solenoid valve in order to stop the pouring of hot water at fixed intervals of time during the automatic hot water pouring operation. CONSTITUTION:When the automatic hot water pouring operation is intended, an automatic hot water pouring switch on a controller 12 is turned ON so as to open a solenoid valve 6 for automatic hot water pouring in order to open a gas block 9, resulting in igniting a pilot burner 7 and a main burner 8 successively to heat a heat exchanger 2. After five minutes from the start of the pouring of hot water, the pouring of hot water is stopped for one minute and a vacuum breaker 4 is opened so as to make the water level in a bathtub 1 equal to that in an automatic hot water pouring pipe 3. A water level detecting device 5 detects the water level in the state just as mentioned above. When the detected water level is above the certain set water level, the automatic hot water pouring is finished. When the level is below the fixed level, the five minute automatic hot water pouring, the one minute stoppage of hot water pouring and the detection of water level are repeated again. Upon receipt of the signal from the water level detecting device 5, an electric control circuit 11 controls so as to automatically pour hot water up to the set water level. |
