<p>Exhaust gas purification device comprises a stainless steel tubular casing, with a series of perforated conical baffles in the casing. A spray nozzle is connected to a supply pipe for discharging water into the casing to humidify the gases. The nozzle may have a threaded brass orifice. Caps are provided for cleaning the device. The device is for i.c. engines of any size. The water reduces the toxicity of the exhaust gases, which tend to deposit on the ground rather than in the air after discharge. Reduced noise output is also achieved.</p> |
