<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to stably feed papers in such a condition that papers are uniformly held at one end on the reference line side, by enabling the force for pushing up the papers in a paper feed cassette to be adjusted, and by making the forces of left and right rollers for feeding papers different from each other. CONSTITUTION:Contact pressures P between a paper A and paper feed rollers 11 are determined by the spring constants of springs 10a, 10b connected to the associated levers 8a, 8b, and set feed-out forces Fa, Fb for feeding papers A, which are effected by the feed rollers 11. That is, the contact pressures Pa, Pb with respect to the feed rollers 11a, 11b are changed in accordance with the areas Aa, Ab of engaging sections between paper plowing pawls 2a, 2b and the paper A to determine the feed-out forces Fa, Fb. Accordingly, the paper A fed from a paper feed section may be precisely fed out along side registation reference lines, thereby it is possible to prevent accidents such as, for example, poor copying, paper jamming, etc. due to a paper shift, etc. from occurring.</p> |
