PURPOSE:To eliminate the zigzag motion of paper being fed during an early stage of printing or trouble such as cutting error by providing a dancer roller load device to control the position of a dancer roller which receives a load controlled by a dancer roller load controller. CONSTITUTION:Paper being fed 2 on a reel stand 1 is guided by each guide roller 3, passing through an in-feed drag roller 4 and finally being led to a printing unit 6 via a dancer roller 5. Prior to setting barrels into a printing unit 6, a barrel attaching/detaching detector 11 detects signal for detaching barrels, and actuates a dancer roller position detector 7, a dancer roller load device 10 and a dancer roller load controller 12 at the signal. Thus the load is controlled so that the dancer roller 5 comes to a neutral position. A speed change ratio controller 8 controls the speed change ratio of an in-feed drag roller change gear 9 and passing paper 2, receiving tension by the dancer roller 5, is carried to the printing unit 6 through the dancer roller 5. |
