PURPOSE:To obtain a joint material capable of following the movement of the caisson bottom by la method in which a joint material for caisson is formed of a synthetic resin cylinder, and an injection port is provided in the upper end of the cylinder and an expandable closing portion is provided on the lower end. CONSTITUTION:A joint material is set on a joint portion 7 formed in a caisson. The joint material is rubber or synthetic resin cylinder 10 having a packer injection port 12 on its upper end and an inwardly folded closing portion in its lower end to close the lower end. The cylinder 10 is clamped with bolt to the side wall of a caisson, and the caisson 2 is driven into the ground. The following caisson 2 is then driven with as much as interval as the joint, and a packer, e.g., asphalt mastic, etc., is injected into the upper end opening of the cylinder 10. The joint material capable of following the movement of the caisson bottom can thus be obtained. |
