CROSS HAIR CURSOR CONTROL SYSTEM FOR GRAPHIC PROCESSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy pointing operation by controlling a cross-hair cursor with its shift in the orthogonal axis and the rotation of coordinates executed from outside. CONSTITUTION:The operating amount of a joy stick 8 is detected by the X and Y axis sensors 9 and 10 and delivered to a selector 12. This output is supplied to input parts 14 and 15 for parallel shift amount and revolving amount respectively when the setting mode of a mode changeover switch 13 is in a parallel shift mode and a rotation mode. Then a parameter related to the new coordinates is calculated based on the present coordinates given from a coordinate register 22 as well as said parallel shift and revolving amount. Then the cursor shift and rotation processing blocks 17 and 18 calculate the shift and the rotation respectively. These calculated shift and rotation are displayed on a CRT20 in the form of a cross-hair cursor. The intersecting point coordinates are calculated by an intersecting point calculating part 21 for the cross-hair cursor at a new position and stored to the register 22.
