PURPOSE:To improve the damping characteristic by switching a power source voltage to a low voltage from the time when a pulse train is finished, and simultaneously interrupting the chopping of a transistor. CONSTITUTION:In a chopper driver, a power source voltage E1 is switched to a low voltage E2 by a switch circuit SW which operates only for the prescribed time after delaying for the prescribed time from when a step pulse train input from the exterior is finished, the chopping, i.e., ON/OFF control of the current of the transistor during energizing is simultaneously stopped to continuously turn ON. Thus, the constant current control is interrupted and since the variation in the coil current I is not restricted, the electric brake effect equivalent to a constant-voltage drive type can be obtained. |
