PURPOSE:To easily remove an antihalation layer at the time of a development by incorporating in the antihalation layer formed on a support a specified cellulose mixed-ester and a specified celulose acetate phthalate. CONSTITUTION:On the side of the support, the silver halide emulsion layer is formed and on its other side, the antihalation layer is formed. This layer contains the cellulose mixed-ester having hexahydrophthalyl or tetrahy drophthalyl groups, such as cellulose acetate hexahydrophthalate, and hydroxyalkyl alkyl cellulose acetate phthalate, such as hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose acetate phthalate, thus permitting the antihalation layer of the obtained photographic sensitive material to be enhanced in a humidity resistance, easily removed at the time of a development, and strongly bonded to the support. |
