PRODUCTION OF INFRARED DETECTOR

PURPOSE:To make possible an easy wiring operation by providing a wiring pattern formed on the side face of an inside cylindrical body and a terminal board wiring pattern formed along the side face on the same plane. CONSTITUTION:The terminal board 31 of a ceramic substrate is made into the disk shape at the center of which an aperture 33 to be inserted therein with the inside cylindrical body 32 of an IR detector is provided. The part of the circumferential inside surface 34 of the aperture 33 is formed to expand perpendicularly by a prescribed size so as to conform to the side face of the body 32. The boundary face between the horizontal and vertical parts of the board 31 is formed to a gentle tapered surface and the pattern for leading out the lead wires is formed in the horizontal part. The surface in the vertical part including the tapered part is shaped and worked to the discrete conductor patterns continuous with the lead wire pattern in the horizontal part after the gold film deposited by evaporation is once formed thereto. The wiring patterns 36 and 36 formed on the side face of the body 32 are bonded and connected by using a lead wire 37 after the pattern 35 of the conductor layer is formed on the surface of the board 31 in the above-mentioned manner.
