PURPOSE:To improve the adhesiveness to a plastic substrate and corrosion resistance by providing, successively from the substrate side, a film consisting of a metal and a film consisting of a carbide or a film consisting of a nitride or a film consisting of a mixture composed of the carbide and nitride between the substrate and optical recording layer. CONSTITUTION:Al, Cr, Ti, Si, Ge, Ta, Nb, Ni or Co is usable for the film consisting of the metal and more preferably Cr, Ti and Si are used. Said film is formed to <=100Angstrom , more preferably <=40Angstrom film thickness according to the metals. Al-C, B-C, Ba-'C, Fe-C, Hf-C, Nb-C, Si-C, Ti-C and W-C carbides are used for the film consisting of the carbide and more preferably SiC and B4C are used. The mixture composed of any among the carbides and any among Sn-N, Zr-N, Cr-N, Al-N, Si-N and W-N nitrides is used for the film consisting of the mixture composed of the carbide and nitride and more preferably SiC-Si3 N4, SiC-AlN, SiC-ZrN, SiC-CrN are used. The carbide or nitride or the mixture composed of the carbide and nitride is laminated on the film consisting of the metal to 500-3,000Angstrom , more preferably 500-1,000Angstrom film thickness. |
