PURPOSE:To improve the charge and discharge efficiency and life span of a secondary battery consisting of negative and positive electrodes in which the nonaqueous electrolyte with the alkaline metal ion conductivity and alkaline metal are used as the active material by using a sintering body made of a specific ratio of ZrO2 and MoO3 mixtures as the active material of the positive electrode. CONSTITUTION:The oxide expressed in an expression xZrO2.yMoO3 (y/x is 1-5) is obtained as the active material by mixing ZrO2 and MoO3 powder in the above-mentioned ratio and baking it at 650 deg.C or more under the atmo spheric pressure and then as the positive electrode by mixing it in acetylene black and 4 ethylene fluoride resin. A secondary battery is configured by using alkaline metal such as Li in a negative electrode as the active material, LiClO4 dissolved in the equi-volumic mixtures of propylene carbonate and dimethoxy ethane as the nonaqueous electrolyte with the metal ion conductivity, and polypropylene nonwoven fabric as the separator in order to prevent resin-shaped crystal (dendlite) from being generated in the negative electrode and being strapped. As a result, a battery with the high energy density and the excellent storage characteristics can be obtained. |
