PURPOSE:To use a chip effectively until the entire area of cutter will abrade by employing a combined chip and securing to chip fixing seat to be mounted/ dismounted and reassembled easily through a wedge. CONSTITUTION:A super hard chip 6 is formed into combined shape where the width at the base section is same with the hob pitch length. Holes 7a, 16 for chip fixing pin 15 are made at the chip fixing seat section 5 to secure the chip 6 to the seat section 5 dismountably and reassemblably by securing the chip fixing pin 15 and the chip fixing wedge 8 through a bolt 9. Upon abrasion of chip 6, it is replaced with another one thus to use economically until the entire area of chip edge will abrade. |
