MECHANICALLY DESINTEGRATABLE BONE CEMENT

摘要

A bone cement based on physiologically acceptable polymers contains acoustical perturbation elements having a characteristic acoustical impedance different of that of the polymer, thereby enabling to desintegrate the bone cement by using sound waves in the case where a new surgical operation would be required, and to easily remove it from the location where the prosthesis is implanted.
