摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the stirring efficiency of a molten steel without increasing the rate of blowing gaseous Ar in the stage of refining the molten steel in a ladle refining furnace by mixing a flux with the gaseous Ar from a lance for stirring the molten steel. CONSTITUTION:The gaseous Ar is blown into the molten steel 4 in the ladle refining furnace 1 from the bubbling lance 6 for stirring powerfully the molten steel 4 and the bubbling lance 7 for stirring lightly the molten steel 4 in the stage of adding an alloy iron thereto, by which the component adjustment by the addition of the ally iron to the molten steel and the dephosphorization and desulfurization refining thereof are executed. The flow rate of the gaseous Ar to be blown from the lance 7 is maintained at 500-1,000l/min in this case and a slag forming agent such as lime and flux such as alloy agent are added and blown at 5-30kg/kg in solid-gas ratio into the molten steel. The stirring efficiency of the molten steel is improved by increasing the rate of the flux in the molten steel without increasing the amt. of the gaseous Ar.
