PREPARATION PROCESS OF NEW AMIND-FUNCTIONALIZED ACRYLIC COPOLYMERS

New acrylic copolymers comprise (a) 30-90 wt.% of a monomer (matrix) contg. N-acryloyl-polymethyleneimine(I) or a N-acryloyldialkylamine (II), (b) 2-50 wt.% of a monomer (linker) of N,N'diacryloyl- diaminoalkane (CH2 = CHC(O)NH(CH2)mNHC(O)CH = CH2), and (c) 2-65 wt.% of a monomer (functionalization agent) contg. acryloylaminoacid or ester (CH2 = C(R1)C(O)NH(CH2)pC(O)OR3). In the formulas, R1 is H or Me; Z is (CH2)n, or (CH2)2X(CH2)2; X is O or NCH3; n is 4-6; R2 is Me or Et; m is 1 or 2; R3 is H or Me; and p is 1-3 or 5. The copolymers are esp. used in ion exchange chromatography with a variety of solvents.
